It is born from the union of herbs, aromatic plants, spices and 5 different types of citrus fruits. This is the identikit of the Bitter signed Natale Mario, which contains in itself the bitterest notes but also fresher than all its ingredients. Reproduced today thanks to a note containing the herbs used to produce it since 1939, it takes a few months for all its notes to be expressed at their best.
The result is a drink that is bitter but at the same time fresh, which differs from the bitter classics with much more bitter tones and that embodies all the sincerity of the character of Natale Mario.
A mix of spices such as gentian, rhubarb and cinchona combined with citrus fruits such as citron, bergamot and green, Bitter is dressed in all its sincerity, starting with its colour: the real tone of the luminous undergrowth, it is bottled without any addition of colouring agents, which makes it appear unusual to the eyes of those who see it, but unforgettable to the taste of those who try it out. Its frankness is also perceived by its consistent flavour, sometimes difficult and impertinent, which never tells any lies.
Bitter was originally created for medical purposes and consisted of a solution often very alcoholic, containing herbs, roots and spices from which the properties of infused botanicals were extracted and preserved. With the advent of blends begins to change the use, and bitter becomes a real must that no one, not even Natale Mario, can give up. Bitter and a mix of different bitter notes is deliberately decided, straightforward and complicated.
